The spiritual lens is superior to the eye of the flesh. We cannot receive from our soul and then designate the thoughts as spiritual for the spirit produces after its own kind and likewise the flesh. An apple begets an apple, a grape, etc. We are known by our fruit.
The spirit is privy to revelation knowledge that far supersedes any view from the perspective of the soul, that is, the mind, emotions or will of man. 1“Now we find true spiritual knowledge in this: only what is appropriated in the spirit is spiritual knowledge; the rest is wholly the mental kind.” One cannot project and camouflage mental knowledge as spiritual for it will expose and then consume itself. Beloved, mental wisdom is carnal, sensual and temporary.
Moreover He said to me: "Son of man, receive into your heart all My words that I speak to you, and hear with your ears. And go, get to the captives, to the children of your people, and speak to them and tell them, 'Thus says the Lord God,' whether they hear, or whether they refuse." Ezek 3:10-11 (NKJV)
